This site is directed to tax professionals and firm owners (B2B). It is not directed at consumer DIY tax filing.

ProSoft is an authorized TaxWise® and CrossLink® partner/connector. We provide onboarding, training, bank-product enablement support via partner banks, and year-round support. Platform software is provided by TaxWise® / CrossLink® owners; bank products are offered by partner banks/processors. TaxWise® and CrossLink® are trademarks of their respective owners. ProSoft is an independent partner/provider of onboarding and related services.

2. What we collect

2.1 Website / intake forms

When you request a demo, pricing, or onboarding, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Firm name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Approximate return volume
  • Number of preparers
  • Whether you need bank products (Y/N)
  • Preferred call time
  • Optional plan interest
  • Source URL / UTM parameters
  • Consent checkbox timestamps and versions

2.4 What we do not collect via the marketing intake form

We do not collect bank-product enrollment applications, taxpayer SSNs for refund-transfer enrollment, or credit underwriting packages through the demo/pricing form. Those flows, if any, are separate partner-regulated processes.

3. Processors and service providers

We use service providers to operate our website and sales processes, which may include:

  • Intake / form providers (e.g., I Think That AI / IThinq)
  • CRM and lead-management tools
  • Transitional tools (e.g., HighLevel / LeadConnector) for historical lead data until fully removed
  • Website hosting and CDN providers
  • Analytics providers, if any are deployed
  • Email / SMS tools used for marketing or transactional messages, if any
  • TaxWise® / CrossLink® platform vendors when a firm enrolls (their policies also apply)
  • Bank partners and processors for separate bank-product enrollment flows (their privacy policies apply to bank-product data)

Processors process personal information on our instructions and under contracts where required.

4. Purpose of processing

  • Respond to demo, pricing, and onboarding requests
  • Sales follow-up by phone, SMS (if consented), and email
  • Provide contracted onboarding, training, and support
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with law and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Marketing to tax professionals where permitted and consented

We do not use the marketing site to provide tax advice or to underwrite bank products.

5. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:

  • Lead records until a deletion request is honored or longer if a legal hold applies
  • Customer/contract records for the duration of the relationship plus applicable statutory retention
  • Web logs / analytics for a limited operational period
  • Consent records long enough to demonstrate compliance

Specific retention periods may be refined after counsel review.

6. Sharing

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers listed above
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality
  • Parties to a corporate transaction (merger or sale), with notice where required
  • Law enforcement or legal process when required

Bank partners receive data only when the firm or client proceeds through a separate bank enrollment — not via the marketing demo form alone.

We do not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is commonly understood; if state law requires additional opt-out links, we will update this Policy and the site footer.

7. SMS, calls, and email marketing

  • Calls: We may contact you at the number provided, including possibly autodialed or prerecorded calls, when you consent via the form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • SMS: SMS requires a separate unchecked checkbox where offered. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies; reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help.
  • Email: Marketing email requires consent where required; transactional or service emails may still be sent. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.

Ask us about our security practices if you need more detail for a vendor review. We do not claim specific certifications (such as SOC 2) on this page unless separately confirmed.

12. Third-party platforms and bank partners

TaxWise®, CrossLink®, and bank partners have their own privacy policies governing data they collect directly. Please review those policies when you enroll with those parties.

13. International users

Our services are primarily for U.S. tax professionals. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States.
